August 21, 2009: Adoption physicals
August 31, 2009: Adoption training courses completed
September 30, 2009: Homestudy complete
December 9, 2009: USCIS fingerprint appointment (cancelled due to blizzard)
December 22, 2009: USCIS fingerprint appointment
February 1, 2010: Applied for adoption grant #1
February 3, 2010: Dossier complete
February 8, 2010: Applied for adoption grant #2
March 29, 2010: Adoption grant #1 denied
May 28, 2010: Adoption grant #2 denied
June 9, 2010: Dossier to Nepal
June 20, 2010: Dossier registered at Ministry of Women and Children in Nepal
August 6, 2010: US DOS suspends all Nepal adoptions
August 27, 2010: Decide to adopt from China Special Needs program. Waiting on funding.
September 23, 2010: Learn we have a credit at our agency allowing us to start the China program.
October 12, 2010: Start adoption paperwork
November 9, 2010: Homestudy meeting #1
November 29, 2010: Homestudy meeting #2
December 23, 2010: Homestudy completed
January 31, 2011: USCIS returns our application for incorrect payment (untrue)
March 23, 2011: USCIS sends pink notice for payment for our renter (untrue)
April 7, 2011: USCIS fingerprints for Jay and I
May 5, 2011: USCIS fingerprinting for our renter
May 16, 2011: USCIS sends pink notice for homestudy update
June 14, 2011: Homestudy addendum sent to USCIS
June 20, 2011: I797 Received - China dossier complete
July 27, 2011: Dossier to China (DTC)
August 9, 2011: Log in Date (LID)
August 30, 2011: Referral - matched to our daughter
August 31, 2011: Letter of Intent (LOI) signed - referral accepted
September 5, 2011: Pre-Approval (PA) from China
October 25, 2011: Updated pictures received
November 16, 2011: Interest-free loan received
January 13, 2012: Letter of Acceptance (LOA) received (130 days)
January 30, 2012: Adoption grant received
February 14, 2012: USCIS sends pink notice for homestudy update

March 19, 2012: I800 Approval (received by mail to us on March 23)
March 26, 2012: NVC Cable sent to US Embassy
